Shared settings keep timezone and default financial context aligned across the workspace.
The Workspace Settings page lets admins configure workspace-level settings that affect all members. Non-admin users can view these settings in read-only mode.
Workspace Timezone
The workspace timezone determines the day boundary used for timesheets and reporting across the entire workspace. For example, if the timezone is set to Europe/Berlin, a "day" runs from midnight to midnight in Berlin time, regardless of where individual team members are located.
Select a timezone from the dropdown list of common IANA timezones. The default option is "Browser fallback", which uses each user's local browser timezone — this is suitable for single-person workspaces but not recommended for distributed teams.
Why this matters: Consistent day boundaries ensure that everyone's timesheets and reports align to the same calendar days, preventing entries from appearing on different days for different team members.
Default Currency
The default currency is used as the baseline for profitability reporting. When creating Project Rules with bill and cost rates, the currency defaults to this setting.
Supported currencies:
- EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, JPY
- Not set — No default currency (you will need to select a currency manually when creating rules).
Saving Changes
After making changes, click "Save changes" to apply them. The button is only active when there are unsaved changes. Success or error feedback is shown inline after saving.
