Immutable timesheet snapshots support review, approval, and locking.
The Timesheets page is where you review submitted periods, filter by status, open detailed snapshots, and jump back into timeline preparation when a new period still needs to be assembled.
Views
The page supports up to three list views, depending on whether you belong to any workspaces:
- All — Combines your personal timesheets and visible workspace timesheets.
- Personal — Shows only your personal timesheets.
- Workspace — Shows timesheets for the currently selected workspace.
If you do not belong to any workspace, the page falls back to Personal automatically.
The timesheets list combines filters, workflow status, and period-level review in one table.
Filters
The filters above the table adapt to the selected view.
Status
You can filter by these workflow states:
- Submitted
- Returned
- Approved
- Locked
User
In Workspace and All views, you can also filter by user when matching workspace data is available.
Project
You can filter timesheets by project category or task grouping derived from Project Rules. When multiple categories exist in one timesheet, the table can show Multiple in the Project column.
Prepare Current Period
The Prepare current period button sends you to the Timeline in preparation mode for the current week.
- In Personal view, it prepares your personal current week.
- In Workspace view, it prepares the current workspace week.
- In All view, you should switch to Personal or Workspace first if you want to submit a timesheet.
Timesheets Table
The table can include these columns depending on the selected view:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Scope | Shows whether the timesheet is personal or workspace-scoped in the All view |
| User | Shows the timesheet owner in workspace-aware views |
| Period | The covered date range |
| Project | A resolved project/category summary |
| Status | Current workflow status |
| Approver | The person responsible for approval, or the auto/self label for personal flows |
| Updated | Most recent update time |

Workflow Summary
The page also includes a small workflow summary card that highlights the three high-level stages:
- Prepare timesheet
- Submit for review
- Approval & lock
Timesheet Detail Page
Opening a timesheet shows the full snapshot for that period, including the entries that were included at submission time.
Header actions
The actions in the header depend on the timesheet type, status, and your role.
Workspace timesheets
Reviewer-level roles and above can:
- Approve workspace timesheets in Submitted or Returned state
- Reject workspace timesheets in Submitted state
- Lock workspace timesheets in Submitted or Approved state
- Share workspace timesheets when they are Approved or Locked
Personal timesheets
The owner of a personal timesheet can:
- Lock personal timesheets in Submitted or Approved state
- Share personal timesheets when they are Submitted or Locked
Snapshot contents
The detail page shows:
- The covered period and effective timezone
- Status and submitter information
- Entry count, task count, and total duration
- The stored snapshot hash
- All included entries for that submission
If protected entry content is still locked, the page can prompt you to unlock access before showing decrypted entry details.
Sharing is configured per timesheet with expiry controls and optional recipient metadata.
Sharing a Timesheet
The share dialog generates a one-timesheet URL with an expiring token and temporary key.
Current sharing options are:
- Expires in days — Choose any value from 1 to 90 days
- Recipient email — Optional metadata for the share
If access is still locked, the dialog can require you to unlock first and then continue generating the share URL.
Returned Timesheets
If a reviewer returns a timesheet, it appears with Returned status. You can then go back to the Timeline, adjust the prepared period, and submit again.
