Team Workspaces

Manage workspace members, invitations, role changes, and removals from the team roster.

Team Workspaces

Workspace membership, roles, and invitation actions live on the roster page.

The Team Workspaces page is where you manage the members of your workspace — inviting new people, assigning roles, and removing members.

Member Roster

The member roster table lists everyone in your workspace with the following details:

ColumnDescription
NameThe member's display name
EmailTheir email address
RoleTheir current role in the workspace

Inviting Members

Requires the admin or owner role.

Click the "Invite Member" button to open the invitation modal. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. They will receive an email invitation to join your workspace.

Invite member

Invitations start from the workspace roster without leaving the page.

Changing Roles

Requires the admin or owner role.

Each member row has a role dropdown that lets you change their role. The roles you can assign depend on your own role:

  • Owners can assign: admin, manager, reviewer, member, viewer.
  • Admins can assign: manager, reviewer, member, viewer.

See Roles & Permissions for a full breakdown of what each role can do.

Role Change Errors

If a role change fails, you will see a notification explaining why. Common reasons:

  • Owner not assignable — The owner role is derived from the workspace license and cannot be assigned manually.
  • Delegation denied — You do not have sufficient privileges to assign the requested role.
  • Target not member — The user is not a member of this workspace.

Removing Members

Requires the admin or owner role.

Click the remove button on a member's row to open a confirmation dialog. Confirm to remove the member from the workspace. Removed members lose access to workspace data immediately.

Remove member

Member removal is gated by a confirmation dialog before access is revoked.

Workspace Switcher

If you belong to multiple workspaces, use the workspace switcher in the header to change which workspace you are viewing. Switching workspaces clears cached encryption keys and reloads the workspace data.

Workspace switcher

Multi-workspace users can move between workspaces from the header.
