System Tray

Keep Trackself running in the tray or menu bar so tracking stays within reach while the main window is hidden.

Trackself sits in your system tray (Windows/Linux) or menu bar (macOS) so it's always within reach, even when the main window is hidden.

Tray Icon

After launching Trackself, its icon appears in the system tray area. Click the icon to open the tray menu.

Tray menu

You can refocus the app or stop the active timer without reopening the main window.

Typical Workflow

  1. Start tracking a task in the main window.
  2. Hide the window or switch to another app — Trackself keeps running in the tray or menu bar.
  3. When you're done, open the tray menu and select Stop tracking.
  4. Use Focus to bring the window back when you need it.
