Personal defaults let each user keep their own timezone and currency preferences separate from workspace settings.
The Personal Settings page lets each user configure defaults that apply to their own portal experience and personal workflows. Unlike Workspace Settings, these settings do not affect other workspace members.
Personal Timezone
Your personal timezone controls how your own portal views interpret day boundaries when a workflow uses personal defaults. This is especially useful when your browser timezone changes or when you want your own reporting and review flows to stay anchored to a specific timezone.
Choose a timezone from the dropdown list of common IANA timezones. If you leave it on Browser fallback, Trackself uses the timezone currently reported by your browser.
Why this matters: A stable personal timezone keeps your own review and reporting views predictable, especially if you travel or work across timezones.
Default Currency
Your default currency is used as the starting value for personal financial defaults and related personal workflows.
Supported currencies include:
- EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, JPY
- Not set — no personal default currency is applied automatically
Saving Changes
After making changes, click "Save changes" to apply them. The button is only active when there are unsaved changes. Success or error feedback is shown inline after saving.
Scope
Personal Settings only affects your own account-level defaults. Workspace-wide settings such as shared timezone and workspace default currency remain managed separately in Workspace Settings.
